Register Now for a Chance to Join at Darkspore.comToday, Maxis announced the kick-off of the five-week beta period for Darkspore, a new breed of online action RPG. Darkspore wont be on store shelves until March 29, but players who have registered for a chance to join the beta at http://Darkspore.com  may be among those selected to receive beta keys and get early access to the game.

To mark the announcement of the beta kick-off, Maxis released a special trailer spotlighting Darkspore gameplay, from customizing the perfect Hero to the intense PvP combat players will experience in the game. Check out the video today, and be sure to let your readers know they can still register now at Darkspore.com for a last-minute chance to enter one of the upcoming beta events:

• Friday, Feb. 18th from 6pm PT until 11:59pm PT Saturday, Feb 19th
• Friday, Feb. 25th from 6pm PT until 11:59pm PT Sunday, Feb 27th
• Friday, March 4th from 6pm PT until 11:59pm PT Sunday, March 6th
• Friday, March 11th from 6pm PT until 11:59pm PT Sunday, March 13th
