Golfers Who Send In Their Real-Life Golf Purchase Receipts Will Be
Rewarded With Free In-Game Golf Gear
San Jose, CA - September 21, 2009 - San Jose-based online game publisher,
GamesCampus.com, announced today an
exciting event for Shot-Online, its popular online golf game. From now through
October 30th, GamesCampus is proud to host this latest event which is targeted
to real golfers worldwide. Anyone who e-mails or mails a bona fide receipt for
real golf equipment will receive Shot-Online's latest in-game golf equipment for
free!
Any brand or item from Callaway to Ping to TaylorMade, Titleist and more is
eligible. Almost any golf purchase will qualify - GamesCampus will accept
receipts for drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, irons, wedges, even golf balls or
golf apparel. Additionally, GamesCampus understands that in this economy many
people are purchasing golf equipment online or through eBay and we will also
honor these receipts as well!
"We know that the majority of our players are golf fans and play golf on a
regular basis so we thought this would be a nice way to reward those players,"
says David Chang, EVP of Marketing and Business Development for GamesCampus.
"With our new promotion, our players can spend their money on real golf
equipment and still get some really special equipment in Shot-Online, which will
help increase their enjoyment of golf regardless of whether it is online or in
real life."
Players will get a corresponding item from their purchase. For example, if a
player buys Callaway's new Diablo driver, the player will get the newest
Shot-Online driver to use in the game absolutely free. Or if a player buys a
dozen of the new Titleist Pro V1s, the player will receive the latest
Shot-Online golf balls to use in the game for no charge!
All the player needs to do is scan and email the receipt along with their
GamesCampus ID and send it to GamesCampus at
freeclubs@gamescampus.com.
