More Than 1,400 Players Participated in The Popular MMO Online Golf Game's
Annual Charity Event
San Jose, CA - May 26, 2009 - San Jose-based online game publisher,
Gamescampus.com (www.gamescampus.com, run by OnNet USA), today announced the
results of its annual online ALS Charity Tournament for its popular online golf
simulation game, Shot
Online. The tournament ran from May 4th through May 14th on the
challenging Sosori golf course. A total of 1,417 Shot Online players
participated in the charity tournament to help aid the research to cure ALS.
GamesCampus donated $1 for every player who completed the entire 18-hole Sasori
course in the Shot-Online game. In addition to the $1,417 donated for each
player who participated in the event, the company also donated additional funds
to provide a total donation of $2,000. All proceeds are being donated to the
Driving 4 Life organization to benefit its ALS Therapy Development Institute and
ALS research efforts. The Shot-Online charity event has been held annually since
2006 to remember a former player who passed away from ALS (commonly known as Lou
Gehrig's disease).
The full list of players who participated in the charity event can be found in

the Driving 4 Life organization to help raise awareness and, most importantly, a
cure for ALS."
