Lyra Studios is currently seeking any parties who may be interested in licensing our Massively Scalable Multiuser Networking Engine. The Lyra Network Engine is designed to accommodate tens of thousands of simultaneous users in a single real-time 3D environment. The system is designed to scale easily by simply adding additional server hardware whenever it is necessary to support more users.

The Lyra Network Engine also provides persistent state support through a database (where user accounts and the state of the virtual world are stored in a database and evolve over time.) And, unlike other MMORPG engines, the Lyra Network Engine also offers fast and furious real-time Quake-style 3D combat! Further, after 5 years of production use and 7 years of development it is extremely stable. It is extremely bandwidth efficient and runs well on a poor 14.4 modem connection! It also uses the most cost efficient hosting platform possible - Linux on Intel hardware.
