Maplers can now jump into MapleStory and create their own Pirate-class space
bounty hunter, Jett, and help her find back-stabbing Burke to restore her
reputation and find her Core. With yesterday's Renegades update, Jett was
introduced exclusively into the North American service of MapleStory.

Complete with laser blasters and skills that leverage extraterrestrial
technology, Jett is ready to hunt for Burke and retrieve her stolen Core, the
source of her power. In addition to having lightning-fast laser blasters, Jett's
special buff skill, ?Core Aura,? can be shared with another character on the
same account and in the same game world. The stats for Core Aura level up with
Jett and the stats are variable, making this skill slightly different for each
Jett character.
From now until early August, players who log in everyday will receive a
Renegades Coin as part of the Renegades Festival rewards. Coins can also be
earned by accepting quests from the Maple Administrator and Spiegelmann to
complete Party Quests. Coins can be traded into NPC Conor, located in most
towns, for a variety of prizes and rewards.
In addition to Jett, the Renegades update has introduced a Thief Class Revamp.
Thieves are now stronger and faster than before and have improved skills as
well. These improved skills include Haste, Flash Jump and the new skill,
Enveloping Darkness. With Flash Jump, players can now activate the skill just by
pressing the jump button again in the air, increasing their mobility with the
smoother skill activation and freeing up a hot key.
Other features added introduced with this update include five different
Part-Time Jobs, which allow players to put characters to work even when they
aren't logged into them. Players can also travel to the future in the revamped
Neo City area to receive new quests and receive new awards. Along with the Neo
City revamp, there are several new and updated quests and party quests ready for
exploration. Players will have more guidance on where to go and how to advance
quicker with the new Navigation and Level-Up Guides that have been introduced.
