Strategic browser game remains enormously successful, implements new features
Hamburg - June 27, 2012 - InnoGames
announced today, that its strategic browser game Forge of Empires has reached
1,000,000 players so far. The game, which is playable in 18 languages, went into
open beta at the end of April. This is the most successful start in InnoGames'

at the European Games Awards. The awards are open for public
votes until
Monday, August 13.
Additionally, Forge of Empires will receive an update next week, containing a
series of new features. From then on, players will not only be able to trade for
free within their guilds, but they can also replace residential buildings with
their more effective counterparts more easily. On top of that, the new
neighborhood merging system dynamically puts players of the same rank and
activity in close proximity. All changes are aimed at improving the multiplayer
aspects of the game.
Forge of Empires is a browser-based strategy game, where players, tasked with
leading their own city to prosperity can research new technologies, build
impressive historical buildings and enlarge their sphere of influence through
military campaigns and skillful dealing. Other players' cities can be visited
and, while admiring structures and placement of buildings, be supported by
polishing decorations or motivating workers for increased happiness or resource
outcome. The game also contains a long-term single player campaign, as well as
an ever-growing number of PvP-features, which offer months of entertainment.
InnoGames provides additional information in the game's very own
