New Expansion Brings Gear-Filled Dungeon, Overhauled PvP Systems, and News from the Front

Sunnyvale, CA - June 14, 2012 - Destroy the infestation of demons and take back the planet in Aika Online Epic III: Descent! The first chapter of this brand new epic, now live, pits Aitan against beast in the ominous Abyss Gateway dungeon, balances civil war in the ever-changing, power-altering PvP systems, and brings the latest news from the front with the new Fight for Home series debut.

With the Caelium Cores destroyed and Aika's sky islands descending to the world below, the only thing standing between the Aitan population and armies of monsters is the Abyss Gateway. Aika's soldiers must scout this area and eliminate every threat, from barbaric beastmen to three powerful Zereca guardians. Aitan who brave the unknown and come back alive will win brand new gear like the Warrior's Dominator or Dual Gunner's Assassin. A lucky few will find rare Gear Augments, special items that transform regular weapons into the special ?Abyss? series with vastly upgraded stats.

Though demons knock on their doors, nation vs nation war still rages on the fallen isles. Traband Tower Wars will adjust the difficulty and objectives by offering nations at a disadvantage the chance to find machines on the battlefield that will give them dramatic, game changing buffs against their more powerful enemies.

Epic III: Descent also overhauls the previous lead nation system to assign new point values based on each nation's performance in the Relic Wars, Altar Wars, Tower Wars, and other World PvP events. Smaller nations now have a greater chance to win power for themselves, while larger nations will find the challenges increased to match their resources.
