Quite artistic in nature, not circumscribed to a certain despondency, and laden with what I call utmost creative and humble incentives. This interactive fiction, text-based, multi-user dungeon, role-playing enforced game is, in my opinion, the best. No other MUD, nor graphical game for that matter, can achieve such a status. The maker, the staff, the players, and et cetera; - they all open their arms for the newbies (such as myself). Although I am but an apprentice, there is a long way to go, but the profound aesthetics about it is that I shan't be travelling these roads on my own. Threshold accompanies the rich environments, imaginative incentives, pleasing client, and well-written constituents. The journey never ceases to amaze the player upon the crossing of the Threshold. All in all, you are to definitely give this a go for the whole game, nay, the myriad of endeavors, goes unparalleled. |

Tremendous RP opportunities exist and have significant impact on the game world and other players. Excellent combat system. Guilds and abilities are very polished. Constant development keeps the game fresh and vibrant. Long term playability. Many characters are over a decade old! |

I have been playing for about two years now, and never experienced one moment of boredom. The RP environment is rich, immersive, and of high quality overall. The playerbase is friendly to new players, and there's almost always plenty of people about to ask for help if you're stuck. The world itself is richly detailed, and stunningly, but not overwhelmingly vast, with a wide variation of areas. I gain honestly say that even after two years of pretty intensive playing, I probably haven't even seen half of this world. There is always something new, always more to discover. The administrators work hard to release new and exciting content often, and also listen well to player input on things like guild skills or other suggestions. All in all, the active and involved admin, immersive and fun RP, and magnificent playerbase makes this, without a doubt, the best game I've ever played. Adding a pay-for-perks-only registering system makes a recipe for awesome. |

Threshold provides an extremely rare and rich role playing environment with a deep storyline and incredibly character development. There are characters and storylines with over 10 years of rich design. |
